Service Charge

Tenants in multi let or shared buildings will usually have to pay a serviced charge based on the cost of services to shared or common areas. These can include cleaning, decoration, repair, security and utility bills.

There may be a Building Service Charge covering these items and a general Estate Service Charge covering upkeep of roads, estate security, landscape maintenance etc.
